        Construction of a Psychiatric sanitary structure which is adapted at the social condition of the milieu.

        To give some ambulatory care and to admit some acute and chronic patient as well as people with epilepsy.

        Formation of qualified workers.

         Sensibilization of  local population for their participation in care for their children with mental disorder.

        To promote a psychiatric sector with a religious vision, dynamic and ready to make a closer collaboration with other health institution.

        To develop an income generating through micro-projects for  local population.

        Sensibilization of local communities in the field of mental health.

        Visit and support to patient with mental disorder in their families.

 

PRESENT ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMMES

          Welcome: Interviews

          Consultation out patient: Diagnosis, therapeutic project

          Admission in patient: To give shelter,Medications,food,clothes, nursing care

          Laboratory: Complementary examination, EEG,blood slide

          Pharmacy: Distribution of medicine for: In patient out patient Indigents

          Group therapy:Sensibilization,mental disorder,epilepsy,acceptance,counselling and guidance

          ergo therapy: Farming,agriculture,fishpound,cleaningKnitting

          Pastoral care:Masses,Choir,spiritual guidance, mutual support

          Formation: Training for the co-workers, training for local population, student's training

          Therapeutic community: Housing, clothing, medication, food Activities

          Psychiatric patient (acute and chronic)

          People with epilepsy

          There are different pathologies in SDPC. The first one is: ‘’Epilepsy’’. SDPC is known as a subject which stabilize people who are suffering from Epilepsy, Psychosis and Schizophrenia. The centre receives also the Toxicomanies because Toxicomany has been observed in Kigoma region and its really affect peoples more especially young ones.
