RADIO YETU, JINA NA MAANA

NAME OF THE RADIO

The Radio is known as STANDARD RADIO FM. We will be available at 90.1 fm in Singida region. We have also plan  to be available country wide in future.

SR FM, we expect that the existence of this radio will be very much informative to the audience about trade and industry development, politics, relationship between the local communities and central communities, culture conservation, health and environmental issues. Standard Radio also meant to make its broadcasting to be very standard by professionalism

This Radio project is meant to help people to know what is taking place in the locality, what are the projects hosted by the NGOs and individuals operating in the surrounding of their locality, and inform the public in general.

The project would also alleviate the problem of lack of information for people who have been waiting for news which aired by other Radio stations and newspapers coming from out, which don’t even include local stories from Singida villages, hence   people are lagging behind on the right of freedom of expression

The project also aims at delivering awareness of HIV/AIDS to youths who are not informed enough, we are devoted also to inform our community about the real economic situation around them. It also aims at encouraging farmers, peasant and businessman to use media as a tool to meet success.
